Apple has revealed that Series 10 now has 40% higher brightness when viewed from an angle compared to Series 9. It is now available in 1.89-inch and 2.04-inch LTPO OLED screen options alongside a higher refresh rate and 2,000 nits brightness, like the Watch Series 9.

Moreover, the Series 10 has 30% more screen area, in comparison to Series 9, and this extra space allows for an additional line of text in apps like Messages and Mail, or the option to increase font size without sacrificing content.The Apple Watch Series 10 comes with a faster and more compact S10 chip compared to the Apple Watch Series 9, which is powered by the last-generation S9 chip. While Apple hasn’t provided specific performance comparisons, the S10 chip is designed for improved efficiency and integration of Apple Intelligence features.

The Series 10 is equipped with a quad-core Neural Engine, similar to that of the Series 9, which facilitates on-device processing for functionalities such as the double tap gesture and on-device Siri. Nevertheless, the Series 10 brings forth enhanced features, including audio playback via the integrated speaker and advanced voice isolation for calls, which minimizes background noise during conversations.
