While Apple hasn’t provided specific performance comparisons, the S10 chip is designed for improved efficiency and integration of Apple Intelligence features.
The Series 10 is equipped with a quad-core Neural Engine, similar to that of the Series 9, which facilitates on-device processing for functionalities such as the double tap gesture and on-device Siri. Nevertheless, the Series 10 brings forth enhanced features, including audio playback via the integrated speaker and advanced voice isolation for calls, which minimizes background noise during conversations.
